God is Declaring New Things!

Last week we looked at discerning the times and seasons. If you missed that, I would recommend reviewing it to better understand what we will discuss this week. God is always doing something new, i.e., new year, seasons, etc. We can’t live off of past grace, ideas, revelations, etc. We all need new things to advance, so we don’t get stuck or left behind. Prophetic people see ahead so we can change our present (Acts 2:17). We can make choices to shift and align with God’s plan for our lives. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth, I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42:9

A new season is here, and we are in a season of new! God is resetting His people. We have seen things that have shaken our world from the Covid – 19 pandemic to economic upheaval and social and political unrest during these past few months. God has allowed things to be shaken so that those things that cannot be shaken may remain (Hebrews 12:27). He is preparing us for the great revival and harvests prophesied for these last days and His bride for His return. He is preparing us for things to come! Our future is secure in Him!

We are in a new era (2020; Hebrew year 5780), and we need to be new, to know who we are in Him. According to Prophet Hank Kunneman, a new era is a new time frame or new event on God’s calendar. In January, we discovered our identity and inheritance in Christ. Our identity will determine our future.  Https://alexiscarucci.com/2020/01/15/identity-and-inheritance-in-christ-as-sons-and-daughters-of-god/

We need a new wineskin (See Acts 2; 9). We must allow God to change our wineskins and go to the Word to reset our course. We are in Christ and grafted in by faith – reborn (2 Corinthians 5:17). We need a new transforming movement (Romans 12:1-2). Movement is life. We must make room for new wine by changing the old wineskins for a new one by pouring out the old way we think, wrong beliefs and emotions, the old mindsets, revelations, and sometimes a change in relationships to have Divine connections (Isaiah 65:8). We need to position ourselves for the outpouring of the Spirit of God (Mark 2:22). A Holy Spirit movement! The Holy Spirit lives in us and is looking to demonstrate His power through us and to show Himself strong on our behalf (2 Chronicles 16:9).

God sends the rain to come into the dry places in our lives to restore and fill us so that rivers of living waters will flow out of us (Isaiah 41:18). He is doing a new thing, and we must be ready for it.

Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19

The wilderness will expose what is inside of us. It’s a place of testing and trials that leads us to victory as we trust, follow, and surrender to the Lord. In Matthew 4:1, Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Spirit to conquer every aspect of the wilderness. Christ teaches us how to conquer and overcome the enemy by the Word of God (Matthew 4:4). So, we must focus on the Word and walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7; James 1:2-4).

God is our source. God will make a clear path through the wilderness and cause us to flourish, giving us His wisdom, guidance, and instruction. When He provides rivers in the desert, this speaks of the outpouring of the Spirit and the life-giving waters He gives. Rivers of joy, peace, etc., (John 7:37-39). As we follow the example of Jesus, we will not be destroyed but will come out of the wilderness in the power of the Spirit as He did (Luke 4:14). We can’t cross over into 2021 and come into our promised land with a poverty and bondage mentality but we need a wisdom and prosperity mentality. We are to come out of slavery (See Romans 8; 12).

Godly wisdom is the foundation of everything we need and is the master-key to the abundant life (Proverbs 4:7)! Wisdom knows how to apply knowledge. We gain knowledge through our senses that inform us by giving insight upon which we can act. Wisdom describes how we approach and live our lives. Knowledge and wisdom are vital because it gives life and brings understanding (Proverbs 9:10-11). Wisdom and understanding (revelation) work together (Isaiah 11:2; 50:4; Ephesians 1:17-18).

Being prosperous is all about having God’s favor and Blessings upon our entire lives and being successful. It is about our well-being. It is about having abundance so that all our needs and desires are taken care of so that we can share with others. God’s plan for the body of Christ, His church, is to pass this Blessing on to others. God gives us wealth so that we can use it to be kingdom builders, not just for our own lives (Matthew 6:19 – 21). God wants us to be a giver just as He is!

When we hear the Word of the Lord and obey Him, we can prosper even in difficult times. He also says, to believe the prophets, and we shall prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20). Our prosperity comes from God, not the world, government, etc. (Deuteronomy 8:18). Hopefully, this year 2020, was the year we learned to hear God, positioned ourselves correctly, and learned to trust and wait on God to bring it to pass so that we can move ahead into the next decade (Isaiah 40:31; Psalm 27:13-14; Lamentations 3:25; Proverbs 3:5-6). He is preparing us to fly with the wind of the Spirit and wants to give us wings to soar above like the eagles!

Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting – for He will never disappoint you! Psalm 27:14 TPT

God is declaring new things, i.e., new places, doing new things we never imagined, treading on new ground, new levels in the prophetic, new encounters, new doors of opportunity, breakthrough to the new things God has for us, etc.

“Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He.” John 13:19

“Known to God from eternity are all His works.” Acts 15:18

We need to see things from God’s perspective. There may be some of you who have lost jobs and income. God wants us to know today that even though a door may be closed, we are still under an open heaven (Mark 1:9-10). God is our source, and He has an abundant supply. God can open closed or locked doors or open new doors (Revelation 3:8; Isaiah 22:22).

Sometimes God closes a door because it is not His will for you, and He closes it for your protection. Sometimes a door is closed because it is not the right timing. Sometimes God closes a door to move you on to the next step in your calling and destiny (1 Kings 17:1-16 – Elijah and the widow). He will lead us if we listen for His voice and follow His leading. He wants us to move into our calling, and He has the right assignment, resources, and timing. There are books in heaven written before we were born with our God-given destiny written in them (Psalm 139:16).

He is declaring new things, and we must expect to receive from Him in this next season. He may want you to open a new business that you never considered before. Take a new assignment in a different field. Give you a promotion so that you not only provide for your family but have resources to Bless others and for kingdom purposes. He wants to use us in ways we could never imagine. Dream big with God (Habakkuk 1:5; 2:2-3)! Follow His leading and peace (Galatians 5:25; Colossians 3:15). If you aren’t sure what you heard is from the Lord, take it to a person you trust, who hears the voice of the Lord, knows the Word, and can pray with you, and provide wisdom (Proverbs 11:14; 15:22).

We have to come to a place where we decide to embrace the new. We can’t operate in the new while mourning the old things of our past. The things you thought you needed to stand on to be whole are not what you need. We must depend on the Lord and not on things or people. Believe in new levels for 2021. Invest in yourself. Allow the Lord to lead you (Galatians 5:25).

We are becoming new. We are a new creation in Christ; old things are passed away, and everything has become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). God wants to do more in our lives, but we need to surrender our heart, will, and lives to Him to receive it. God wants to anoint and touch our lives in a fresh new way.

Through the LORD’s mercies, we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22 – 23

Perhaps you haven’t decided to become new in Christ yet. Don’t miss this opportunity for the greatest and best decision of your life! If you would like to experience the love of God and to have peace with Him through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you can receive Him right now. Remember, it is not words or prayer alone that will save you. Prayer is a way to reach out to the Lord and must be done in faith (completely trusting in Him alone to save you). He even gives us His faith (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 12:3). Christ will save you when you ask Him, believing that He will. Faith is not a feeling but merely believing God by taking Him at His Word, which allows you to receive His salvation gift. Pray these or your own words out loud:

Heavenly Father,

Your Word says that whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. I ask You to forgive me for my sins. I repent and turn from them and turn to You. I am calling on You and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for me. I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, and He is alive today. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me the Holy Spirit to live inside of me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and Your healing power in my life. I now belong to You. Help me to live for You and obey You all the days of my life.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

If you just received Jesus as your Savior, then I welcome you into the Family of God! For more about how to grow in Christ, see: https://alexiscarucci.com/welcome-to-gods-family/

It is essential to be around apostolic and prophetic people so we can hear and see new things. Apostles and prophets are the foundation of the church (Ephesians 2:20). The new will break you into new realms of anointing, passion, joy, etc. It will keep you moving forward.

The Lord may be doing a new thing, but it doesn’t mean that we abandon the foundations laid in previous restoration emphases of the Holy Spirit. We must wisely build on the previously laid foundation of truth. Not everyone will receive the new thing and sometimes think it is wrong or dangerous. Next week we will look at prophetic pioneers who have a breaker anointing, grace, wisdom, might, boldness and perseverance to Bless the earth.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20 – 21

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
