Jesus is the living Word of God (John 1:1, 14). Jesus only did what He saw His Father do and only said what He heard His Father say (John 5:19, 8:28). When you see Jesus in the Word, you experience His life. Ever since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, the Bible reveals God’s plan to redeem mankind through Jesus. The first mention of God’s plan was in the Garden of Eden when the LORD God spoke to the serpent (Genesis 3:15).
The Bible stories, prophecies, parables and Old Testament feasts are a type and shadow of things to come and point to Jesus which He fulfills in the New Testament. He can be seen in every book of the Bible (John 5:39, 46). The Bible is Jesus in print!

Amen! However, I’m just going to suggest something- use the King James Version of the Bible. You see, the KJV is the only Bible in English that has come from the original text- and the original text is the true spoken Word of God.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
