Step into God’s Plans for You in 2022!

Last month, I encouraged you to spend time with the Lord to discover His plans for you this year. But we must not just know the plans but also step into the plans the Lord has for us according to the season and His timing, so 2022 will be a breakout year for you!

God is going to do something new for you in 2022. Declare over yourself, “God has ordained new things for me!” God is doing a new thing, and there are new doors, new beginnings, new favor, etc. We must not allow our circumstances, worry, and doubt to chart our course in life. When we come into God’s presence through His word, worship, and prayer, He reveals life-changing secrets. He has promised that when we call unto Him, He will answer us and show us great and mighty things we do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). Prayer places God’s power and His resources into our hands.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11 – 12

God is sovereign, and we are to step into His plan. Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins, restore our relationship with the Father, and make us holy. God sovereignly provided salvation through Jesus on our behalf. We then stepped in by an act of faith and received Him. We agree with what God has done to establish it on the earth.

When the Lord reveals something to us, we need to use our faith to unlock His power and then step into it to establish it in that realm by using our free will to choose. These two keys work for any realm. First, pick the realm God is highlighting in your life and walk in it to unlock the Holy Spirit’s power in your life, i.e., healing, deliverance, provision, protection, etc. Meditate and declare the Scriptures He gives you so God can manifest it in and through you. Believe the report of the Lord! Spend time in His presence and Word, then send forth His Word.

Remember, He has given us authority and power over the enemy (Luke 10:19). We choose to agree with the Lord and put faith over feelings, results or history, etc. We choose to believe in eternal truths rather than temporal facts. Therefore, we declare and move in it.

Jesus brings healing and deliverance, which changes us. We don’t have to look like what we have gone through! He gives us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness, and a crown of glory (Isaiah 61:3; Psalm 8:5). He renews our youth (Psalm 103:5)!

We are stewards of His creation, and we need to move in the Holy Spirit’s power to put the reality of God on display, i.e., His fruit and gifts. The enemy is trying to silence the voice of God in the earth. He tries to distract us, steal our joy, and cause circumstances to look bigger than God. But the Word of God never changes, and that is why we preach the Bible. We must also contend for the prophetic words spoken over our lives (1 Timothy 1:18). Of course, prophecy can be contingent upon our response, faith, and how we receive it. But we have a more sure word of prophecy (2 Peter 1:19).

The church is the voice of God in the earth today as the body of Christ. When Jesus spoke on the earth, He shook things and spoke with authority (Hebrews 12:25-26). But now He speaks from heaven through us. He has given us the keys of the kingdom of heaven and the power for binding and loosing (Matthew 16:18 – 19). Jesus said that we must do greater works than He did (John 14:12).

So arise and shine (Isaiah 60:1 – 3) and make every day count! Partner with the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you (John 14:26; 15:26; 16:13). You have the anointing to move forward in this season. Do not allow fear or insecurity to stop or cripple you so you can cross over into this season. Draw a line in the sand and believe God for the most incredible season of your life.

So teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Return, O LORD! How long? And have compassion on Your servants. Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days! Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil. Let Your work appear to Your servants and Your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:12 – 17

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:15 – 17

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20
